If you have not been keeping up with the health care plan that the Democratic Party has in mind then I suggest you take the time to review this plan for yourself. You can find details at The Democratic Party and H.R. II . I am in no way a supporter of this plan and not only am I fearful of the cost of this plan but I do not want to even open the door to my private life when it comes to my healthcare with the Federal Government.
If you take the time to watch the Hardball video I absolutely did not like how Katy was made to be un-American and un-aware the interviewer made her out to be.
If one would stop to think about it, would you be willing to give up Medicare and Social Security? I say yes! Get the government out of my personal and financial business. Now like anything else in life it takes discipline to be successful at anything and saving for one’s retirement and health care in our later years is no different. Keep in mind that this is just my opinion and while there will always be individuals who will always expect the government to step in and fix their life; I am not want of these individuals. Side note, if you want to gain more control over your finances I recommend listening to Dave Ramsey . I took one of his classes years ago and my finances have never been better.

Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American.
It is obvious in my mind that our government clearly wishes for the American people to be mindless drones in which we will simply stand up and say “Thank you, may have another”. If an individual does not have the right to present their thoughts in any forum set by the government then what are the men and women serving in the Armed Forces fighting for today and what did our Veterans fight for? Freedom? Free Speech? It just simply seems to me that our country is turning into what once was viewed as shock and horror when it comes to individual rights and freedom. I say speak out and make your voice be heard!
Write you Senator on this subject or any other subject that you feel strongly about at the United States Senate .
